In February, I shared with you the tragic news of Pastor Clemmie Livingston, who was shot outside New Zionfield Baptist Church just before service. Thankfully, he survived the attack and remains in stable condition, but his recovery has been long and painful. He has endured multiple surgeries, with more on the horizon, and the hospital bills have already surpassed $350,000. If you haven’t had the chance, you can read my original breakdown of the incident and the lessons we can learn about church security here. I continue to urge you all to review our training materials on parking lot security, as this is where many threats begin.
Now, more than ever, Pastor Livingston and his family need our prayers and support. His medical expenses are overwhelming, and I ask that we come together as the body of Christ to assist them. If you are in a position to help, please consider donating to their GoFundMe here. Let us continue to lift them up in prayer, trusting in the Lord’s healing power and provision during this difficult time. Thank you for standing with them.
Done. We pray for Pastor’s healing and peace and strength for his wife. In Jesus’ Name.
Keith, thank you for sharing this opportunity to provide support for our Brother in Christ, Pastor Clemmie Livingston! I will share with others, too. Praying for recovery for Pastor Livingston and for peace for his wife & family.
