URGENT FBI Warning

The FBI and Department of Homeland Security have issued a joint intelligence bulletin warning of potential violence by lone offenders at public winter holiday events, including houses of worship. Based on messaging from foreign terrorist organizations, these attacks could target gatherings where security is limited.

Church Security Threat Level System Alert Level: RED

Our alert level remains at SEVERE (RED), the highest risk of attack. This includes:

• An active shooter plot disrupted on Election Day by an Afghan immigrant.

• Confirmed Iranian hit squads in the U.S. targeting high-profile individuals.

• Recent thwarted attacks on synagogues and churches across the country.

Latest Incident: Oroville, CA
On December 4th, a man posing as a prospective grandparent shot two kindergarten boys at a Christian school before taking his own life. His writings indicated a connection to Middle Eastern tensions. This tragedy reinforces the urgent need to enhance security at our places of worship.
