To support Palestinians, an artificially contrived nation without history, over Israel, which has thousands of years of ownership of the land in the Bible, is to support Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Iranian Islamic regime which are all terrorist groups hating Christianity and churches along with hatred of Israel.
I'm sorry, I denounce that church and any like it. They maybe a church but they are not a church of the Lord Jesus Christ. They surely DO NOT have Christ as their head. And anybody that goes to that church needs to have their head examined. I'm sorry but that is NOT a Christian Church. Leviathan is their god.
What??? Christian church denounces Christian Zionism?? My understanding of Christian Zionism is the Jewish people have a right to return to Israel. Denounces this??? Well they are not Christian. And they know nothing about their Bible, the Old Testament of who Jesus is and was and who the Jewish people are and was. Rabbi Cahn is correct in people calling sin - good and good - sin. Wow. This is a perfect example of it. Talk about Apostasy. You Presbyterian church or churches need to get back to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and to have your eyes opened. You all are a mess. Wow!!!!
I grew up in a presbyterian church. I chose not to go back to them based on their decisions as a church. They have turned from the bible, just as many other churches have.
Keith - First and foremost, hope you are doing well.
I probably missed it - have you covered parish cyber security? Am at a conference with Homeland Security and they are telling us that Russian Intel is targeting all churches and temples since their data bases contain a wealth of personal information - including hi ranking politicians, LEO's (you for example! God forbid) and the like.
If you have time, checkout our Riverside County, CA Sheriff. He's the man. Very Pro CCW. Pro Church Security.
CISA.gov has a wealth of free information including Homeland assessing and training parishes - for free.
Take care bro - μολὼν λαβέ - We're a Greek parish with plenty of Spartans ;)
It seems counterintuitive that people with more conservative ideas about LGBTQ would commit acts of violence against churches that turn more liberal on church issues. I recently heard that the government sees a greater threat from conservative Christians than liberal Christians. But conservative Christians know that Jesus said, pray for and bless your enemies, and vengeance is forbidden since vengeance belongs to God, so conservative non-Christian religions must be responsible for most of the violence seen. Who is actually causing the violence in this case? We need to be clear on this point. Or is the violence actually a false political claim?
Looking at incidents at Methodist churches after their unfortunate decisions, most of the vandalism and thefts were occurring from conservative Christians that were upset with their decision. I left that out of the article. I am a conservative Christian. I don’t agree with what they are doing, but whatever happens to them is up to God, not us.

One other thing, Bible says God blesses those who bless Israel and curses those that curse Israel. Genesis 12:3 You are absolutely correct David.
If you're going to do any briefing you might want to brief them on how to get saved and how to get their eyes opened. I'm appalled.

Ahhhh, the state of some of the churches in modern day America. The Bible is probably optional as well. What a sad state of affairs.
