Insofar as cameras in bathrooms are concerned, my fiancée checks the ladies room while I check the men.
Where grace and restoration are mentioned, absolutely forgive and restore. But NOT to leadership roles. The Bible is VERY specific about who leads the flock, eliminating (controversy alert) 100% of women and about 95% of men. Criminals do not meet the high standards. Technically, as a divorced man who is about to be remarried, neither do I. When common sense fails, go to Scripture.
Good morning Bro. Keith, What are your thoughts on the incident in Miami where the worship service was stopped, and disrupted to arrest the pastor? As for me I find it disrespectful and un called for should / could have been handled differently.
I was thinking about doing a video on that exact subject. It was obvious to me that they had been trying to deal with this for a long time and that the pastor was ignoring the problem. The police knew where he was going to be on that Sunday morning. Personally, I would have waited and taken them off before the service. The service still would’ve been interrupted. However, they need to get the children. They don’t have a choice. There’s a judge ordering the seizure of the children. When he’s up there talking, you know that he is not with the children so it’s easier to take the children when they’re separated. This all comes down to the pastor. He needs to reread Romans and understand his role in that. He chose to sin. Nobody is ever happy with the actions taken by police. It’s because what we do is ugly. There is never a good outcome. But we need to lay blame where it belongs, which is with the pastor who chose to ignore the problem.
Honestly I have told our team if the sheriffs office arrives during a service and wants to enter to look for someone to ask them to wait until we can prepare the pastor and congregation for it. Thanks
Thank you for highlighting the loss of Lt. Meadows. You're doing a great service for Christianity in America and the law enforcement profession.

This should be a zero tolerance policy situation. Forgiveness is one thing, ignoring red flags is asking for trouble.
I agree; there are red flags everywhere. Working with adults - OK. With children and youth not on my watch.
He should not be working in any church period
I agree Kieth. Forgive yes, but forget about serving in a church.
Sexual crimes should be a capital offense the first time. Even having child porn.
