Great points Keith. I've been carrying gold dot since I started carrying 15 years ago I stick with the 124 +P load. I was using 9BPLE for awhile because it was very cheap for the performance you got out of it but it's so high pressure you don't want to run it out of subcompacts so I went back to gold dot so I could safely run it in everything. I like the idea of having a long gun available but even if pur pastor would allow it I would have it issued to someone sitting in our security office or the sound booth because most incidents are over so fast if it's stowed away somewhere in my opinion it might as well not even be there.

Keith,
Can you point me to your resource identifying the shooting drills you use for church security team qualification?
I’m on our church security team, and would like us to step up our game.
Thanks in advance.
