Keith, you say probably 40% of your church attendees are armed on any given Sunday; my church (AZ) is probably similar. Have you or someone done anything to “educate” your armed attendees on what to do and not do if there is a situation that requires your security team to draw their weapons in order to not escalate things and ensure everyone knows who “the bad guy is”?
Yes, we hold a CCW holders meeting on a Saturday morning and feed them breakfast. The security team comes in and we talk about what we will do if something bad were to happen and what we expect them to do. We found it a great recruiting tool to get people on the team as well.
How would you go about explaining the "do's and don'ts to members who carry every week? Some will do what they feel is best, but to have that outline/expectation presented is beneficial. Can you share some ideas, please? Thank you!
Keith, can I get a copy of the video you showed in Chino Hills that involved the 357 sig? My pastor would like to see it. Dave rarat2286@gmail.com
Thank you. Good idea. In AZ we also have to navigate those who carry concealed but without CCW. And figure out how to “advertise” that meet 😊

I like the inclusion of video with the newsletter, especially if it is more efficient for you.
