First, I want to thank those that are paying members of the newsletter. This is what you have allowed me to do by donating to the newsletter:
It allows me to break away from my day job more and more to do more of this. To be honest, I like this job much more.
It allows me to buy equipment I need to make all of this possible.
It allows me to pay for software needed to run the online training portal (right now, we are training over 1,000 people a month).
In just a short few months, this list has grown close to 14,000 subscribers. The next evolution for us is to do a livestream this Saturday at 8 AM Mountain (7 PST, 8 MST, 9 CST, 10 EST). What will we discuss?
This week’s violence at churches around the US
A preview of our upcoming training on dealing with suspicious cars in the parking lot
Answer all of your questions that you have!

I am not opening this up to my general YouTube audience, just this list. I may do that later, but not this time.
So, leave a comment to let me know what questions you have for the upcoming livestream. Just click the button below. The link to the livestream is below. I’ll see you then.
Your efforts and knowledge are greatly appreciated. I am not a contributor yet.
After April of this year (2024, I will have a better idea of my monthly budget.
I am a former law enforcement officer here in California and been a general manager for a government agency after my LE career.
Also, I am a member of my church security team.
In my opinion, it requires some organization. After your notification and comments on the shooting of the Lakeview Church, it brings concerns to my church.
The church I attend is moderate in size. The campus not only has the church itself, but also a campus with a K6 school. I am not certain of the grade levels of the school. I will follow up on this matter.
Since your Lakeview shooting notification, I will be drafting an email to the Pastor and express my security concerns.
For future reference; would you consider to have a live link for my church’s security team and leadership to engage in a presentation and a Q&A session?
As a new member of the security team and the congregation of only six (6) months, I will have to research if the church can offer a contribution for your efforts to host this seminar.
I have been hesitant to make mention of my opinion and volunteer to be involved with the security team and participation in the church’s band.
This is due to my current part-time position as the administrative assistant to the Chief Park Ranger of a small agency that has an urban and wilderness patrol area of 100 square miles. These Rangers are sworn peace officers here in California.
I am not desirous of a full-time position, but due to internal activities between the GM, park district’s Board of Directors, and the Chief Ranger leaves me the decision to seek more work time or not.
I am not a sworn member due to the fact my POST has expired and I have a hearing impairment.
My duties are strictly administrative and I am also tasked with implementing a mounted patrol unit and unmanned aerial vehicle unit to patrol and offer search & rescue in the rough rural areas.
Again, I appreciate your efforts on these matters.
I’m a licensed Security Officer by the state of Texas and work as both Uniformed (designated Level 3) and Plainclothes Security (designated Level 4). I work predominantly churches, but also secular events.
I’ve been asked MANY times the pros and cons of Uniformed vs Plainclothes security. Both have their advantages. Since I’ve been asked so many times, maybe it’s worth a few minutes of discussion.
