Lakewood Church CCTV Footage Debrief: What the Body Cams Tell Us

I just did a full debrief of the Lakewood Church Active Shooter over on my YouTube channel (the link to the video is below). Looking at CCTV and body cam footage, the response had so many lapses. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. As the video plays, I narrate some of the things I see occurring right and wrong in the response.

It is hard to critique people’s responses on the worst day of their lives. However, we need to learn from what occurred because it will happen again. To the officers and security team personnel watching this that were there and are on the video, we are just trying to learn so that we can have a good outcome when it happens to us. Please take it as a chance to improve your response through training.
