Already wrote an email to my congressman this afternoon. This is an absolute attack on the ability to train groups of anyone. Church security teams, self-defense schools that work with blades, more than two people that train in firearms together. Ridiculous.

Thank you Christine. I’ll put something out this weekend.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I believe it is a stretch for either house to pass... Republicans in the House will kill it in a minute. A number of similar bills have been introduced over the years and none have become law, especially one that is this extreme.

The first challenge is that regardless of how poorly its written, It makes things worse for Churches. Good observation who ever discovered it.

Pray and ask the Lord for guidance, Really. Get the Lord involved.

The second thing is that congress and senate like to bundle bills. So, killing it and removing it may be easier than adjusting it. Talk to experts in this, and see what they recommend. College friends. Try not to tip of the opposite side. Put a plan together.

Thirdly Again putting a game plan together would be helpful. Having automated form that people can fill out and email their senators and congressmen regarding this would be helpful, and don't forget to call them day or night and a least leave a scripted message.

Finely have a meeting every other week. This will help put together a plan. You can create team projects/work assignments etc. Great for the spouses. Then blast email the every other month keeping them informed, what's good what's not. But doing nothing is not going to work.

Wouldn't this also outlaw every private security company not contracted or associated with the government?
