THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN. SORRY, I'M NEW. I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THE WRITTEN FORM TO TAKE IT BEFORE THE CHRUCH BOARD AS OPPOSED TO MY EXPERIENCES THAT MAY HAVE ERRORS OR OMISSIONS. CHURCH SECURITY IS A JOURNEY. 'IF YOU AIM AT NOTHING, YOU WILL HIT IT EVERY TIME!' IS THERE A LINK OR SOME PLACE TO DOWNLOAD IT.

I'm deeply saddened to hear about the unfortunate incident involving the church security guard. My thoughts and prayers are with the victim for a swift and complete recovery. It's a stark reminder of the importance of ensuring safety measures in places of worship.

Thank you. Good police organization and management has a communication structure such as dispatchers, shift commanders, etc. to aide those on scene overloaded with a crisis. Should that be the same concept be in churches and what would be the tactical considerations such as response and alert levels, signals...? How much should the congregation be involved, such as mass shooter training, etc. As you say, without training, it can be a total disaster.

I’ve written about it before, about team structure. If you’re big enough, you should have a dispatcher, team leaders and an intelligence officer. on our team, the dispatcher also monitors all of the cameras. If something were to occur, they would be the ones to call 911 and relay information as it occurs so the team can deal with the situation at hand. When we train we incorporate everybody into the scenario.

Yes, I think that is a good idea. I'll put something in the lineup.

Keith - Did you see the shooting at Catholic Church in Turkey? Looks like two gunmen targeted towards one person (maybe not even related to church). But happened inside the church full of parishioners during service. Glenn
